Ann Curry

Curry did not attend one school more than 2 years because her family moved often. The schools she attended were California, the state of Oregon in San Diego and Virginia. Ashland was her last high school. When she was an intern at KTVL Channel 10 Medford, Oregon she was able to lay the foundation for a long and successful television career. She was one of the very first women to be a reporter in the history of the station when she was 22. Then, she was an anchor/reporter at KGW at Portland Oregon. The following year, she relocated from Portland to Los Angeles as a reporter for KBS-TV. During her time with this station for 6 years that she was awarded the two Emmy Awards.
